This program combines strong conceptual thinking with a practical knowledge of compressors and how they work. The students will learn about in modern manufacturing and production processes, evaluate how the creation process works and brainstorm ways for improvement. They will learn the concepts more through practical experience while working in the stimulated and live environments. The more focus will be on imparting the practical knowledge. It is proposed to include fundamental of following aspects of manufacturing technology viz. concept of manufacturing, classification of manufacturing, process capabilities, improving properties like annealing, normalizing, quenching tempering, etc.

After completing this course, the students can apply in the following firms of national and multinational repute to be placed viz. ELGi – Service Equipment company, Motherson, V.G., K.R.
